These Terms govern your use of Duo Preview at https://duopreview.com, operated by Avatar New York, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By requesting a preview or scan, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
What the service provides
Duo Preview helps you explore how a public website may appear across folded, open, rotated, and split-screen display layouts. It provides live previews, captured images, and automated findings about potential layout and usability issues.
Display presets may be estimates and may change as reliable device information becomes available. Browser simulations do not reproduce every characteristic of a physical device or its browser.
Results depend on the content available during the scan. Verification screens, consent dialogs, loading behavior, and restrictions imposed by the submitted website may limit what can be assessed.
Duo Preview does not certify that a website works on a particular device or complies with accessibility, security, privacy, or other requirements. Review findings and test important functionality on actual devices.
Permitted use
Use the service only for public websites you own or have permission to test.
You must not use Duo Preview to bypass access controls, access private systems, violate another party’s rights, disrupt websites, or make excessive automated requests.
Do not submit passwords, access tokens, confidential information, or sensitive personal information. We may limit, refuse, or suspend requests to protect the service and other websites.
Submitted websites and live previews
By requesting a scan, you authorize us to access the submitted public website and process the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested preview and report. You retain your rights in materials you own.
Third-party websites remain under their owners’ control. Their content, availability, and functionality may change.
A live preview displays an actual third-party website. Links, forms, and other controls may perform real actions. Information you enter and transactions you complete are governed by that website’s terms and policies.
Reports and intellectual property
You may download and use reports for lawful website evaluation and improvement. Reports are observations from a particular scan, not guarantees or certifications.
We retain rights in Duo Preview’s original software, branding, and other original materials. Third-party website content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
You must have any necessary permission to reproduce or distribute third-party content included in screenshots or reports.
Independent service
Duo Preview is an independent tool by Avatar New York. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple Inc. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process submitted website addresses, scan results, technical records, and website usage information.
Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate privacy or tracking consent required by applicable law.
Availability and changes
We may change features, display presets, limits, or availability. We may interrupt or discontinue the service or suspend use that violates these Terms.
Any paid services provided by Avatar New York under a separate agreement are governed by that agreement.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Duo Preview is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You are responsible for evaluating results and verifying changes before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Avatar New York, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by New York law, subject to any mandatory protections provided by applicable law. Disputes will be handled in courts located in New York County, New York, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Updates and contact
We may revise these Terms prospectively and will update the effective date. We will provide additional notice where required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
